'The tastiest Fondue ever'

98 participants commenced with a beautiful wine tasting, hosted by Alfred, one of the owners of the Edgecombe Winery in the heart of the Swan Valley. That was the moment for guests with no Fondue pot to make friends. That worked out well.

Shortly after 6pm the Fondue cooking team lit the gas burners. Like every year, it took a little moment until the Fondues where served, because the cheese takes some time until to melt. The ambiance was cosy, because there was a fire going and the shelter protected us nicely. We were very lucky the rain stopped, nearly, the whole time. The temperature was rather cool, but the gas heater kept us warm.

'The tastiest Fondue ever', was the feedback Lorenz received when he had a chat to the guests. Because of of numerous requests for the recipe, you find it published here. The attention was on its absolute peak when Angelo announced the lucky numbers of the raffle, drawn by Assistant Kyra and her friend. The raffle prizes, mostly meat and cheese bits in different varieties, went quick.

A special thank you to all the helpers for their intensive effort to prepare the huge mountain of cheese.

5 pm wine tasting (free usually $5)

Fondue will be served from 6.00pm to 9.00pm
