Property guidelines:  (updated 7/3/17)

As you all know, we are lucky to have an attractive country property for our use in Gidgegannup. Two main events are held and organized by the committee in Gidge: The Swiss National Day and Annual Picnic.

Apart from these official events, you are - as a member of THE Swiss Club of WA  - allowed to use this property privately. However, we would like to remind you of the rules for Gidgegannup and ask you to follow the guidelines below:

  • The property is reserved for the enjoyment of active Swiss Club of WA members only.

  • Members are allowed to invite up to 4 visitors. Larger numbers must be approved by Lorenz WUthrich at least 4 days before arrival.

  • Please be aware that you as a member are responsible for the correct behaviour of your guests. Guests acknowledge that the use of the Club’s facilities is at their risk and they assume sole responsibility for personal injury, personal property and property damage.

  • No visitors are allowed to be on our property without an active Swiss Club member.

  • If you are camping, please make sure you respect the neighbours and keep the noise at low levels.

  • Gidgegannup cannot be used as a party location, because of Toodyay Shire and insurance restrictions.

  • The gas BBQ’s can be used, but please bring your own gas along (on official events the Club is providing the gas). After use clean the BBQ to Swiss standards!

  • All club equipment used (including toilets) need to be left in clean condition as well.

  • Nothing may be removed from the property, including firewood!

  • Fire and Fireworks are not allowed during the restricted burning period from 1st of October till 30th of April.

  • Pétanque pitch: Enjoy the game. You can use the balls of the club stored in the first shed. Return them clean and sorted by pattern. See separate sheet for Pétanque rules.

  • Kids' Sand Pit: Please refit the tarpaulin after use. We would like to keep the sand as clean as possible.

  • Before leaving the property please sign the Guest Book, stored in the First Aid box in the undercover area.

  • Please make sure to leave the place clean and securely locked and remember to take your rubbish with you.

Due to security reasons, we had to change the lock at the main gate. The code has changed and members only can ask the property manager Rene Henzen for the details on 0400 367 026 or RENEHENZEN@HOTMAIL.COM.

The Club owns a rural property at Rolling Green, near Gidgegannup, where two major events are held: The Swiss National Day Celebration and the annual Picnic. There is a large covered shelter and open grassed area with BBQ and camping places.

There is also a smaller, more secluded camping area with a small shelter and BBQ. Both shelters feed rain water into tanks, so there is plenty of fresh water. There are also toilets for ladies & gentlemen and a proper shower.

Access is through a gate with combination lock. Members need to ask for the current combination. Non-members or visitors are welcome, but must be accompanied by a member at all times.
Please use the booking form to let us know you are going to the property.
